About Milwaukee Chapter
The Milwaukee Chapter, chartered in 1947, is a professional organization providing education, leadership skills, and networking opportunities to those in an administrative professional role in the Milwaukee areas.

A Leader in the Association
The Milwaukee Chapter continues as a leader in IAAP at the Wisconsin Division and International levels. Over the years, the chapter has been recognized for membership growth at the Association's International Convention with the presentation of a Distinguished President's watch to chapter leaders.

Milwaukee Chapter has also been recognized in numerous years for successful fundraising events and donations to Vista Grande Retirement Center.
 

Local Members Serve the Association
In addition to serving and leading IAAP at the local level, many members have served at the Wisconsin Division and International levels of the associations, including:

  • International Directors, Great Lakes District and one International President
  • Numerous members have served on various International committees and at the International Convention and Education Forum as workshop/seminar speakers and volunteers
  • Numerous Wisconsin Division presidents, officers and committee chairmen

Milwaukee Chapter Serves the Community 
In addition to monthly dinner meetings which include personal and professional development speakers, the chapter periodically sponsors educational seminars and CPS/CAP study groups, and has also been involved in numerous community projects.

About IAAP

The International Association of Administrative Professionals is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide. Our mission is to enhance the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. The association founded in 1942 as the National Secretaries Association to provide a professional network and educational resources for secretarial staff. The association's name was changed in 1998 to the International Association of Administrative Professionals to encompass the large number of varied administrative job titles and recognize the advancing role of administrative support staff in business and government.
